Day 2: Discovering Kakheti – The Cradle of Wine
After a refreshing breakfast, it’s time to explore Kakheti, Georgia’s famous wine region, known as the “Cradle of Wine.” The drive to this picturesque region is an adventure in itself, with scenic views of sprawling vineyards and towering mountains.
Here’s what you’ll experience on this day:
- Sighnaghi – The City of Love: This charming town, perched on a hilltop, offers breathtaking views of the Caucasus Mountains and Alazani Valley. Wander through its narrow cobblestone streets and admire the well-preserved fortress walls.

For wine lovers, a visit to the KTW Winery is optional. Sample some of Georgia’s finest wines and learn about the unique winemaking techniques that date back centuries. After a full day of exploration, you’ll return to Tbilisi for another cozy night.
Day 3: Adventure in the Mountains – Gudauri and Kazbegi
On Day 3, after breakfast, your adventure heads north to the mountainous region of Kazbegi, with a stop in Gudauri, a popular ski resort area known for its stunning landscapes.

Weather in Georgia
Georgia experiences a diverse climate, depending on the region and time of year. During the National Day Holiday (late November to early December), expect cooler temperatures as winter approaches.
- Tbilisi: Mild to chilly, with daytime temperatures around 8°C to 12°C (46°F to 54°F). Evenings can be colder, so pack layers for comfort.
- Mountain Regions (Gudauri, Kazbegi): Much colder, especially in higher altitudes, where temperatures may drop below freezing. You can expect snow in these areas, so warm clothing and proper winter gear are essential.
The weather in Georgia is generally unpredictable during this period, so it’s always wise to be prepared for both rain and sunshine.
