Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Yerevan City Tour
Your Armenian journey begins with your arrival at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan at 10:15. After clearing immigration, you’ll be greeted by our friendly representative, who will guide you through the start of your adventure.
Highlights of the Day:
- Panoramic City Tour: Start your tour with a breathtaking view of Yerevan and visit key landmarks like Republic Square, Northern Avenue, the Opera and Ballet Theater, and the Mother Armenia Monument.
- Tsitsernakaberd: A poignant visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial and Museum, paying tribute to the 1.5 million Armenians who perished during the first genocide of the 20th century.
- Cascade Complex: This modern art center is a must-visit, especially in the evening when it comes alive with people enjoying the views and art exhibits.
After a day of exploration, you’ll check in to the President Hotel 4-star (or similar) for your overnight stay.
Day 2: Tsaghkadzor and Lake Sevan – A Scenic Retreat
On your second day, you’ll be whisked away to Tsaghkadzor, a mountain town known for its fresh alpine air and captivating beauty. From the Tsaghkunyats Mountains to historic monasteries, this area is a nature lover’s paradise.
Highlights of the Day:
- Tsaghkadzor Ropeway: Take a scenic ride up the mountains and enjoy panoramic views of this charming town, especially stunning during spring and winter.
- Kecharis Monastery: An 11th-century historical gem surrounded by mountains and ancient khachkars (stone crosses), giving you a glimpse of Armenia’s rich history.
- Lake Sevan: Visit one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in the world. Climb the steps to Sevanavank Monastery for a mesmerizing view of the “blue-eyed lake.”
Return to Yerevan for your overnight stay.
Day 3: Garni, Geghard, and Vernissage – Explore History and Tradition
Day 3 takes you on a historical journey to ancient temples and monasteries, offering a deeper connection to Armenia’s past.
Highlights of the Day:
- Geghard Monastery: A 13th-century masterpiece hewn out of rock, this UNESCO World Heritage site is one of Armenia’s most awe-inspiring landmarks.
- Garni Pagan Temple: The only Hellenistic temple in Armenia, built in the 1st century, dedicated to the sun god Mithra. The monumental stairs symbolize humanity’s ascent to the divine.
- Vernissage Market: Browse through Yerevan’s famous flea market, where you can find traditional Armenian souvenirs, handmade jewelry, and much more.
After a day of immersion in history and culture, you’ll return to Yerevan for your final night.
Day 4: Departure from Yerevan
After breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel and transfer to Zvartnots International Airport for your 10:50 flight back to Abu Dhabi, bringing home unforgettable memories of Armenia’s rich heritage and stunning landscapes.
